The paper entitled Towards Video Codec Performance Evaluation: A Rate-Energy-Distortion Perspective authored by Geetha Ramasubbu, André Kaup and Christian Herglotz received the Best Paper Award in the category Diversity and Societal Impact. The contribution was presented at the 16^th International Conference on Quality of Multimedia Experience (QoMEX 2024) which took place in Karlshamn, Schweden, from June 18 – 20, 2024.
