Contributions for High Audio Fidelity in Teleconferencing
Our colleague Thomas Haubner investigates the audio quality in teleconferencing scenarios. For this application, he developed an algorithm that can effectively suppress reverberation, echoes, and noise. At the same time, using a technique calles “beamforming”, the microphones are algorithmically directed towards the speaker. Good Teaching at LMS
For good teaching in the summer term 2022, the LMS received two awards from the student’s evaluation. The tutorial for the lecture “Signals and Systems II” by Dr.-Ing. Christian Herglotz and the lecture “Image and Video Compression” by Prof. Dr.-Ing. André Kaup were both rated second best in their respective categories.
