Contributions for High Audio Fidelity in Teleconferencing

Our colleague Thomas Haubner investigates the audio quality in teleconferencing scenarios. For this application, he developed an algorithm that can effectively suppress reverberation, echoes, and noise. At the same time, using a technique calles “beamforming”, the microphones are algorithmically directed towards the speaker. In the video below, Thomas Haubner explains how this works in practice.
