This summer was an exciting and productive time for the Artificial Audio Group at the LMS, led by Prof. Sebastian Schlecht. In August, the group — including PhD students Cristóbal Andrade and Jeremy Bai — spent a full month at Aalto University in Finland, hosted by the Acoustics Lab at the Department of Information and Communication Engineering (DICE). During this stay, the team engaged in many fruitful collaborations with researchers at Aalto, spanning diverse audio research topics such as differentiable digital signal processing, artificial reverberation, and room acoustic parameter estimation. The visit to Aalto University, which was generously funded by the DAAD Mobility Grant, concluded with attendance at the AES International Conference on Headphone Technology in Espoo (Finnland).
