This year’s LMS excursion on July 18, 2026, took us to Nuremberg, where we visited the historic tunnels (“Felsengänge”) near the Kaiserburg. Throughout their eventful history, these tunnels have served, among others, as water tunnels, beer cellars, and air-raid shelters during World War II. Afterward, we had lunch in a beer garden. Some participants also took the opportunity to enjoy a lovely bike ride from the LMS to Nuremberg and back.
