Research

In my research, I’m focusing on image resampling and interpolation. My main interest is on resampling from arbitrarily located pixels onto regularly spaced, integer positions. The arbitrarily located pixels are referred to as mesh, whereas the regularly spaced, integer positions are referred to as grid. I’m incorporating the model-based key-point agnostic frequency-selective mesh-to-grid resampling (AFSMR). AFSMR generates a frequency model on the mesh positions and evaluates it for the grid positions. The aim is to achieve high-quality resampling.

Additionally, I’m extending AFSMR to three-dimensional datatypes such as point cloud data.
