Jonas Janzen

Since October 2025, I have been working in the field of energy-efficient video communication. My research focuses specifically on modeling and minimizing the energy consumption of the entire video processing chain, from encoding the source videos to transmission and decoding on the end devices.

I offer thesis projects in the above-mentioned research area at any time. Knowledge of Python and/or MatLab, as well as initial experience in video or image processing, are required.
